Boots strapped to my feet Pack strapped to my spine Got you on the wire Baby get in line Saw you on your rooftop Yes I will Promise you won’t forget I mean that forreal Pray you keep me safe, my heart is wired for sorrow I met you yesterday but I live for tomorrow I don’t wanna leave now but I really gotta go I need you on my flight, but I don’t need you in my home I don’t like those odds But I kinda like that tone I’ll have to catch my flight By myself, but not alone Meet me at the station I can never be on time The language’s lost on me And I need another dime Pray you keep me safe, my heart is wired for sorrow I met you yesterday but I live for tomorrow I don’t wanna leave now but I really gotta go Follow me to Denmark, I will follow you to Rome Mercury Be good to me

your head is always up in space and you’re thinking about the universe and its implications and i’m thinking about the way you write and the notes you take and the conversations if we’re made of dust and we’re made of bones then why is every part of me lit up when we’re alone put my heart on an electrical wire and when you call me i’ll surely catch on fire but i don’t mind because loving you makes the time pass so fast i can’t even feel my body turning to ash your head is always in the stars and you’re thinking about space and time and their usefulness and i’m thinking about the planets and how they moved to orbit us into blissfulness if we’re made of dust and we’re made of bones then why is every part of me lit up when we’re alone put my heart on an electrical wire and when you call me i’ll surely catch on fire but i don’t mind because loving you makes the time pass so fast i can’t even feel my body turning to ash

I see new clouds traced like contoured paintings Duel engines and temptation to shoot the fucker down My jaw tired stringed and fresh acquainting Draw the wire taut and pluck a telegram-y sound And the window screams my name, The duel meaning of its pa(i)n(e) Primal nature calling me head-first And I can see it from your room It's the moon but a balloon And I’m just waiting for it to burst We’re a little less than straight unnerving A body to get used to topped off with the family hair Cross back to our homeland we’re observing All pedantic inferences from grandpa’s Croix De Guerre And the edge of couch refrain Sung out to the windowpane The homonym perhaps could be coerced And I can see it from your room It's the moon but a balloon And I’m just waiting for it to burst The fogging glass goes hand in hand With moonlight farce to reprimand The passing bliss would recommend We wish against a bitter end The jogging pace could reaffirm Electing thoughts served past their term Rusting stairs left to descend We’re wishing for a better end As I’m trying to convince You’ve been better than me since You wrote your notebook titles in boldface Its the string tied to your room Its the moon but a balloon And I just want to ride it to space

Meteor showers and cell phone towers Satellites and aeroplanes There’s a million lights in the midnight sky But only one bears your name Gravity came creeping Over the couch where you slept that night Hands they started reaching And I whispered into the quiet There’s a heaviness in love and I want you to know It weighs on my mind and stays in my blood wherever I go They’re cutting the lights out now as I lose myself in a dream I still can’t escape your gravity Hospital rooms with the skyline view Are the kind we both can admire Stepping out into canyon blind As we walk this invisible tightrope wire Just as the gears went shifting Suddenly found my breath I could feel as feet started lifting then And I gave you all that I had left

Before the stars escape my sight Before the pretty image takes my life Set the sun in lasting rays Wired back to golden days Rings and things lead me through the clouds I’m burning Metal walls collapsing with a sigh I confess I’m way too young to die Set my shoulders bite my tongue Scream the songs I should’ve sung Leave the rings behind me for the crowd And burn up Rise and shine you sailors in the sky Atmospheric entry cast me down my battle cry Photographs belay me to a home I’ll never see Charred to ash in glorious apogee Fire its a blanket hold me tight Rock me gently drift into the night What a way to end my days A shooting star a blinking blaze Greet your grand destruction as a friend And burn up Rise and shine you sailors in the sky Atmospheric entry cast me down my battle cry Photographs belay me to a home I’ll never see Charred to ash in glorious apogee Read and weep you sailors in the sky Atmospheric entry cast me down my battle cry= Photographs belay me to a home I’ll never see Charred in ash and glorious apogee

Let’s go. Time to begin. Pointless To resist, my friend. The town has turned into Glass-covered ice. What will you do with your Last night? Don’t let them tell you it’ll Always stay that way. Once the circle’s been formed We won’t see the gray Dust covered sky. Time’s tied to wire. Can you survive The 84-year wild? What do You think you will feel? Can you touch The star-scattered fields? Keep your knees against The clear divide. This is the feeling of Being alive. Don’t let them tell you it’ll Always stay that way. Once the circle’s been formed We won’t see the gray. Dust covered sky. Time’s tied to wire. Can you survive The 84-year wild? Dust covered sky. Time’s tied to wire. Can you survive The 84-year wild? (x3)

Consider this an open letter of apology I try to make amends but most my friends don’t wanna bother me I guess it’s the result of going ghost from time to time Could Danny phantom even fathom suicide? I lose track of the weeks as summer turns to fall I put on my mask and proudly play the oddball It’s funny how the clown can always keep a smile on But out of light and out of touch his sorrows worth a mile long Meanwhile the fool can write and drink and smoke aplenty Simply part of process to down a fifth with swift assembly Missed the heaven, see the moons, slowly drowning in a pool of absolute black with dead light to shine through I am a traveler of both time and space Monitoring oxygen levels and food intake Have a destination but I’m not sure if you’ll get the message Cannot let my mind drift off not even for a second Is it Munson or Camille Do you know just how she’d feel Can you please stop talking bout her, she’s been dead for five years Wonder who’s the next to go Is it me I’d like to know I cannot believe I’d leave my mother all alone If it’s me, then what of him? What about the other twin? If I’m gone then what becomes of my own brethren? Baby blue eyes I don’t wanna see em hurt. Don’t wanna see em lose they color, please don’t let this be another life lesson, teaching moment, I have had more than enough, thought I wouldn’t leave you all well then I might just call the cluff Maybe here there’s something new Maybe I won’t have to choose Hope this message is wired through Hope to see you in Neptune

about

A collection of songs written over a weekend. Each artist was given a prompt to write from, a single word to include in their lyrics, and just under 72 hours to turn in a completed track. The prompts were all space themed, and as such the album has been placed in planetary order, with track one corresponding to Mercury, track two to Venus, and so on all the way through Pluto (diverging only at track four which takes a detour to the moon).

These artists recorded their songs in basements, cars, their mother's apartments, and their friend's house in Sweden. I hope you enjoy this collaborative effort, and where applicable, please check out other work from these talented folks.
